The charter company has promised us to meet our request, if possible, we can get the ship a little earlier than contractually established (5.pm).
At 12:00 we had arrived at the marina but unfortunately found that the appropriate communication between the charter company and charter base did not work obviously. Namely the ship were full of traces of the previous crew, with the cleaning was then started at 13:00 at last.
We then did some kind of "compromise-check-in" at 6p.m. with half-empty fuel tank , but with full bilge (fresh water from the boiler, however, management has been previously repaired)
During the check-in we noticed the following:
=> 6 of 8 life jackets were moldy and stinky and exchanged
=> full bilge, the pipe from the water heater was leaking and was repaired
=> hardware on the inventory list (scrubber, Canister, ..) on the ship was missing and were brought later on
=> water tanks were empty and were filled by the crew
=> damaged charts, even from one area was only half the map present
=> despite two objections and successful post-cleaning were still detected after dropping several points on outboard who have not seen any cleaning. Although none of the seven men were desperate about cleaning, at the end of the week the deck was much more cleaner than with after the check-in
During the week we were angry then still have a broken starboard-genoa winch and a faulty outboard motor, in which the stop button "repaired" was with cable ties and in which was also the throttle cable stuck p>
I hope that assists this platform, so that such cases are individual experiences or no not happen any more p> BR. p>
