- Baoatic Welcome Email After we (my family and friends) always spent our sailing holidays on the Baltic the last years, we have chosen, despite many negative reports on Croatia, this country to be our next destination. In order to advance to say: We were taught a better. But everything step by step: As a matter of principle, we only book directly with the organizers and not book through agencies (bad experience, but that is a matter of opinion which is better), we came looking for something on the company Baotic Yachting. The administration and the paperwork were done, in the branch office in Offenbach. We were super advised via telephone and also received an offer shortly afterwards. After recently renegotiating (outboard and a box of wine for free!), We have promised and we also get the contract immediately sent. The terms of payment (50% Contract, 50% 4 weeks before), we also considered as fair. All is secured with a security certificate. Unsolicited we also get base information and a map to the base (well, we flew, so it was not useful, but for that we have been able to directly also book an airport transfer). So all contract was impeccable. The pick-up at the airport has worked perfectly and the marina, it was no longer far away. We were amazed at how great the marina was provided, it was not until in 2009, rebuilt what we were there said. Now for the boat: We have booked a Bavaria 50 Cruiser, BJ 2005, 5 cabins . The boat was indeed already chartered in the 6. Season, but was in top shape. Sure, here and there a drawer or tucked it has done nothing, but the most important - cleanliness - was assured. For us, 7 people (4 adults and 3 children) absolutely spacious and comfortable. The boat we would recommend without further notice Check-in / Check-out was also satisfactory. We got about an hour-long briefing with regard to boot specific characteristics, etc. A little things are missing (bucket boat seat, light buoy), but after working through the checklist were immediately fixed. The staff was always friendly and helpful, were almost all could talk Germanand if not, then it worked with English :-) We had great weather the week and have more than we can relax very well. We have been very positive as already mentioned by Croatia and the company that rented us the boat surprised. We can only recommend it to anyone, despite all the criticism to explore Croatia sailing area, it is really fantastic, though not cheap. If you questions, I am happy to help.My Rating for this Yacht
