Despite several thunderstorms and some gusts of wind up to 50 knots it was a nice trip. The wave height reached to approximately 2 meters.
We were two families with a total of 7 persons. Mostly, we anchored in bays or we used buoys of local restaurants. Besides we visited the well-known tourist towns of Hvar, Korcula, Dubrovnik, Milna, Primosten. Here we drove into the respective marinas, at Primosten in the Marina Kremik. With the Marineros I had only good experiences. The marinas were all in nice condition.
The assessment of the boat, a Sun Odyssey 44 i is ambiguous. The yacht was extensively equipped, inter alia with bow thrusters, which is especially an advantage in tight marinas, such as in the ACI Marina Korcula. In particular I liked the spaciousness of the cockpit and the externally attached plotter. Less well remembered are the drawers and the toilet doors, which opened while driving, especially during lateral waves. So many glasses and some plates broke. If possible, we then stored the plates and glasses differently.
The anchor with approx. 30 meters chain, then hawser held the boat securely and firmly -because of the weather alerts I've also used the second anchor several times in the bays
The transfer of the boat was no problem, some requests were done on short notice. Even the return of the yacht was no cause for complaint -. Plates and glasses did not have to be replaced
The service and friendliness of the staff of AYC is excellent. I have now booked the third time at AYC span> and did not yet have any negative experiences. Friends of mine have already booked at AYC span> about 20 times and are perfectly satisfied. I will also book again with AYC .
